OPERATION INTEREST MATCH

Operation INTEREST MATCH (OIM) that we instituted at the 2005 Book Fair created a lot of happy customers and dealers. Most of the customers who participated walked out of the Fair with far more books in their areas of interest than they would have expected to find at a Book Fair.

Just what is OIM? Simply stated, if you are planning to come to the Book Fair, you can let the dealers who will be displaying at the Fair know your specific interests ahead of time. They can then bring to the Fair books or other paper items in your areas of interest. Here is how it works:

  1. After the 1st of August, send a message indicating your specific interest or interests (no more than 3) to our Web Master - Ray Boas. Please include your name and your e-mail address in your message and (optionally) a telephone number.

  2. We will forward your message to all of the participating dealers for whom we have e-mail addresses.

  3. Dealers with books in your areas of interest may contact you to let you know what they have or to request further information.

  4. When you come to the Fair, visit the dealers who responded and see what they have for you.

We hope that this arrangement makes you visit to the Book Fair a more profitable experience. We would appreciate your sending us an e-mail after the Fair to let us know how INTEREST MATCH worked for you.
